The most famous attraction near the tree house is the Krásna Hôrka castle, there is a beautiful view of it from the meadow below the tree house. The castle is now under reconstruction and you can see the Andrássy Mausoleum down in the village.

Lovers of history and monuments can also visit the beautiful Betliar Manor House and the reconstructed rococo Andrássy cottage. In the nearby village of Kováčová you can go on a tour of the nicely restored water mill.

There is also a bistro in the mill where you can sit and refresh yourself. There are up to 6 accessible caves in the vicinity - Krásnohorská jaskyňa, Gombasecká jaskyňa, Ochtinská aragonite cave, Dobšinská ice cave, Domica cave and Jasovská jaskyňa.

Of course, you can go for walks in the forest near the tree house or for longer hikes. Interesting hikes with beautiful views are on Dievčenská and Brzotínská rock.

You can also go hiking to the ruins of two castles. Turnian Castle near the village of Turňa nad Bodvou and Szádvár Castle in Hungary near the village of Szogliget.

Those who like cycling can bring their own bike or rent one here, including electric bikes at Požičajsi.bike in the nearby village of Drnava, or at the Buzgó bike rental shop in the village of Krásnohorská Long Meadow. And there is a map of the bike routes in the area on the tree house.

About 25 km from the tree house near the village of Zádiel is the beautiful Zádiel Gorge, where you can go for an easy walk. Not far from Zádiel are the pretty Háj waterfalls above the village of Háj, and right nearby in the village is the Fairy Tower on a thread. The Hrhov waterfall is also close by right in the village of Hrhov. Close to the village are the Hrhov Ponds where you can observe the amazing world of birds from two lookout towers.

On warm summer days you can go swimming and boating or paddleboarding on the Tajch Úhorná lake or on the Palcmanská Maša reservoir near the village of Dedinky in the Slovak Paradise National Park.

From Dedinice you can take a chairlift to the Geravy Mountain. There you can relax and have a snack, or take a walk in the beautiful countryside.

Families with children can visit the family park OBROVISKO with megasoches and SYSĽOVISKO in a meadow full of gophers with a fairy-tale nature trail and a mini zoo near the village Muráň.

For adventurous souls we have the possibility to ride a horse or take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage at Hobby ride Lipovník.

For action-packed guests, there's also the chance to ride the GOMBASEK zipline at Summer Camp in Gombasek. In Gombasek, you can also visit the restored Rococo Andrássy Curio House.

The Gombasecká Cave and Silická glacier are close to the village.

If you like tennis, you can play it in our hall in the village of Krásnohorské Podhradie. And after the day's programme you can go bowling here in the village.

Gastronomy: down in the village you can dine in the Contesa restaurant, in the restaurant At the Iron Count and in the Pizzeria under the castle. You can taste the regional dishes of Gemer in the Koliba Soroška restaurant at the top of the Soroška mountain pass. You can also dine in the nearby town of Rožňava.

There is also the Mining Museum in Rožňava - Experience Centre - Sentinel and there is also a possibility to go up to the Watchtower in Rožňava and enjoy the view of the town and the Rožňava basin.

And those who come to relax and enjoy the treehouse experience can stretch a hammock between the trees on the terrace and swing and listen to the birds singing in the treetops. And in the evening, you can play cards or board games that are already prepared for you up in the treehouse.
